I'm an artist, curator, and educator with a background in photography and graphic design. I launched a creative business as an advertising and editorial photographer while attending college in Austin, Texas. My business model expanded into art direction and graphic design projects while living in New York City.
After relocating to the Seattle area, I transitioned into higher education as a tenure instructor for visual communications. As an extension of my pedagogy, I mentor creative workers in their pursuit of their career. I also a curate gallery exhibitions that examines the issues of citizenship, standardization and the construction of identities.
My present studio practice focuses on producing site-specific public art installations. My artworks has been exhibited in museums and galleries across North America and are held within public collections. Commissions and clients include: Annie Leibovitz Studio, Benjamin Moore Paint, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, MTV, Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, and Whole Foods Market.
